Suren Papikyan

Suren Papikyan has served as Armenia’s Minister of Defense since 2021, taking over the role in the aftermath of the 44-Day War and the political turbulence that followed. He is a senior Civil Contract figure responsible for Armenia’s military restructuring, defense procurement, and the management of Armenia’s security relationships with Russia, France, India, and other partners.
