The Republic Party is an Armenian opposition party led by Aram Sargsyan, who briefly served as Prime Minister in 1999 following the assassination of Vazgen Sargsyan and Karen Demirchyan. The party should not be confused with the Republican Party of Armenia, the separate organization led by former President Serzh Sargsyan.
