Prosperous Armenia is one of Armenia’s established opposition parties, led by Gagik Tsarukyan, one of the country’s wealthiest businessmen and a long-time member of parliament. The party has historically positioned itself as a centrist alternative that draws support from voters skeptical of both the ruling Civil Contract and the more nationalist opposition blocs.
Groong episodes covering Prosperous Armenia examine Tsarukyan’s business interests, his complicated relationship with successive Armenian governments, the party’s policy positions on foreign affairs and economic development, and its performance in MPG polling ahead of the June 2026 elections.
