Pan-Turkism

Pan-Turkism is a political and cultural movement that seeks the unity of Turkic peoples across a contiguous geographic corridor from Turkey through Azerbaijan, Central Asia, and into western China. In the context of the South Caucasus , it underpins the “two states, one nation” framework that defines Turkey-Azerbaijan relations and shaped their joint military cooperation in the 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war.
