👤 Edgar Ghazaryan has appeared on the Groong podcast — see their guest profile and interviews →
Edgar Ghazaryan served as Governor of Vayots Dzor, chief of staff at Armenia’s Constitutional Court, and Armenia’s ambassador to Poland. A figure of the Republican Party of Armenia , he is running as an independent candidate on the Strong Armenia list in the June 2026 parliamentary elections . His guest page carries his full biography and episode list.
On Groong, Ghazaryan reads Armenia’s political crisis through its legal and constitutional dimensions. He returns to the government’s confrontation with the Constitutional Court , the erosion of judicial independence, and the constitutional rewrite that Civil Contract has pursued.
His path through the executive, the judiciary, and the diplomatic service under the pre-2018 governments gives his commentary the vantage of an establishment insider. On Groong he argues that the legal machinery built since the so-called Velvet Revolution has concentrated power in Pashinyan ’s hands while hollowing out the institutional checks that once constrained it.
