The Armenian National Congress is a liberal-democratic political party founded by and associated with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Armenia’s first president after independence. The ANC has positioned itself as a pro-Western, reformist force critical of both the Pashinyan government and the nationalist opposition blocs aligned with former presidents Kocharyan and Sargsyan.
In the 2026 Armenian Parliamentary Election, the ANC is headed by long-time party member and leader, and our podcast guest Levon Zourabian.
