Ararat Mirzoyan has served as Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs since 2021. He is one of the central figures in Armenia’s post-war diplomacy, leading the country’s negotiations with Azerbaijan on a peace treaty, managing the reorientation of Armenian foreign policy toward the European Union and the United States, and representing Armenia in international forums on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
Groong episodes covering Mirzoyan examine his diplomatic positions on the peace process, his statements on the Zangezur Corridor and TRIPP, Armenia’s relationship with Russia and the CSTO, and the EU-mediated talks with Azerbaijan. He is a senior Civil Contract figure whose public statements on foreign policy are closely tracked by both supporters and critics of the Pashinyan government’s approach to the peace negotiations.
