Anna Grigoryan sits in Armenia’s National Assembly with Hayastan Dashinq (the Armenia Alliance), the opposition coalition associated with Robert Kocharyan . She first won her seat on the governing My Step alliance after the so-called Velvet Revolution of 2018, then crossed into the opposition, a path that tracks the disillusionment of early Pashinyan supporters after the loss of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) . Her guest page carries her full biography and episode list.
On Groong, Grigoryan lays out the opposition’s reading of Armenia’s political crisis and the Armenia Alliance’s approach to the June 2026 parliamentary elections . She discusses the transit route through Syunik that Washington frames as TRIPP and that Azerbaijan and Turkey call the Zangezur Corridor , and the rights of the more than 150,000 Armenians ethnically cleansed from Artsakh in September 2023.
Her move from the governing bloc to the Kocharyan-aligned opposition makes her a marker of how far the realignment after 2023 has reshaped the National Assembly. On Groong she presses the argument that Yerevan’s concessions have run ahead of any reciprocal step from Baku.
