Groong Podcast is the English-language podcast of Armenian News Network/Groong, a volunteer-driven Armenian news and analysis project with roots in one of the earliest Armenian online communities.
What began as a modest mailing list in the early days of the internet became a trusted source of Armenian news, especially during critical moments such as the war for Artsakh. Today, Groong reaches readers and listeners around the world, including individuals, community organizations, journalists, researchers, policymakers, NGOs, and members of the Armenian diaspora.
We launched Groong Podcast in July 2020 to help meet the need for serious English-language coverage of Armenian politics and regional affairs. Our episodes bring together hosts, analysts, journalists, academics, public figures, and community voices for conversations that go beyond headlines.
Regular formats include:
Groong focuses on Armenia, Artsakh, the Armenian diaspora, and the regional forces shaping Armenian life. We aim to curate reliable information, ask informed questions, and give listeners enough context to understand what is happening and why it matters.
Whether you are commuting, multitasking, researching, or simply trying to follow a complicated news environment more carefully, Groong is here as a steady source of perspective.
Listen and subscribe on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, RSS, and other platforms through our Groong links page. You can also join the conversation in the Groong Facebook group.
